Eagle View Elementary School is a public elementary school in Fairfax.
Constructed at a cost of $16 million, the name of the school was proposed by fourth grader Aaqib Syed and voted on at a meeting at Liberty Elementary School in Clifton on March 15, 2006.[1] The name was confirmed at the Fairfax County School Board meeting on April 6.[2]
The school opened in 2006.[3] Former principal of Pine Spring Elementary School Deborah L. Tyler was the first principal of the new school.[4]
When Patty Granada became principal of Greenbriar West Elementary School, Kanchana Iyer became the new principal of the Eagle View in July 2017.[5]
