Farnum L. Burton
Farnum Lloyd Burton was a 17-year-old boy found shot to death and chained in a privately-owned catfish pond near 10900 Harley Road in Lorton on April 6, 1975.
His body was not identified until almost a year later, when his aunt recognized him from composite sketches that had been published in the Alexandria Gazette. His mother and father, who lived separately, each thought Burton was staying with the other parent.[1]
