Franconia
Franconia is an unincorporated town and census-designated place in the Alexandria region of Fairfax County.
Franconia is named for the Franconia Farm of R. R. Fowle.[1]
In 1872, the first Franconia Station was built on the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad.[1]
