Fredy Reyes-Castillo

Fredy Reyes-Castillo was a 22-year-old Baileys Crossroads man who was beaten to death by four members of the MS-13 youth organization in Browns Chapel Park in Reston on June 17, 2001.[1][2]

Reyes-Castillo met up with the four men, Brian O. Sanchez Maradiaga, Melvin O. Lopez, Kenneth G. Penaranda Sanchez and Jorge A. Cedillos near a Reston gas station and pretended to be a member of the youth organization.[2][3] However, when the four discovered Reyes-Castillo was not actually a member of MS-13, they beat him so badly that his corpse was unidentifiable, and police could not even tell his ethnicity.[4]
