Joanne E. Ryan

40-year-old Joanne E. Ryan hanged herself in the basement of her Springfield home at 9121 Rockefeller Lane in the Winston Knolls neighborhood on August 19, 1976 after attempting to strangle her two children, 8-year-old Cathy and 7-year-old Timothy.[1]
