Joel D. Cox
Joel Drew "Joe" Cox (August 3, 1961 – February 15, 1964) was a 2-year-old child who was fatally shot, along with his sister, 11-year-old Laurie Beth, and brothers, 14-year-old Danny and 4-month-old Timothy, by his mother, 40-year-old Judith E. Cox, in the family home at 421 Carolyn Drive in the Sleepy Hollow neighborhood of Falls Church on February 14, 1964.[1]
Joel was the only child who survived the initial attack, and was taken to Fairfax Hospital, where he died the following morning.[2]
