- June 7 – 50-year-old Scott LeClaire settles an argument over money with his 52-year-old brother Randall by fatally shooting Randall in his home at 2506 Massey Court in Huntington.[1][2]
- June 10 – 20-year-old Kathryn A. Southard is killed when her 1992 Subaru Legacy is struck by a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by 25-year-old Oscar Rene Bonilla as she attempts to make a left turn onto Old Keene Mill Road from Byron Avenue in Springfield. Bonilla crashes into a tree and runs away from the scene.[3]
- June 13 – Six-year-old Sean Campbell runs into the street on Tis Well Drive in the River Farms neighborhood of Alexandria, where he is struck and killed by a Fairfax Connector bus driven by Santos Ruiz.[4][5]
