Margaret E. Goehring
Margaret E. Goehring was a 27-year-old paralegal for the U.S. Department of Justice who was abducted, robbed, sexually assaulted, and finally shot to death by William Brown, III in Falls Church on May 26, 1979.[1][2][3]
Goehring's murder was selected in September 1979 as the inaugural case for the Fairfax County Crime Solvers program when Fairfax County Police were unable to develop leads while investigating her murder.[2][4]
