- November 10 – Acting on a phone tip, Fairfax County Police spend several hours digging around a partially demolished house on Moncure Avenue in Bailey's Crossroads before finally discovering the skeletal remains of William H. Miles, Jr..[1][2]
- November 21 – 11-year-old Bruce J. Tiemens is shot to death by his 10-year-old playmate at his home in Annandale.[3]
