- November 6 – The body of 19-year-old Amalia Zappas-Green is found beneath a tree in the Bull Run Marina Regional Park in Clifton by a passerby.[1][2]
- November 13 – 27-year-old Kristen L. Restivo dies in a fire when her 1981 Chevrolet Caprice catches fire in the 7800 block of Rolling Road in Springfield.[3][4]
- November 16 – While making a controlled buy of narcotics in a parking lot behind the One Price Cleaners at 5834 Columbia Pike in Baileys Crossroads, Fairfax County Police officer Irene M. Boyle fatally shoots 27-year-old unarmed recreational pharmaceutical salesman Jose Carlos Rodriguez in the head when he surprises her. Rodriguez is taken to Alexandria Hospital, where he dies.[5][6]
