- November 4 – 21-year-old Chester E. Grubic fatally shoots his 61-year-old father Clay as he sleeps at his home at 1907 Paul Spring Parkway in the Hollin Hall Village neighborhood of Alexandria.[1]
- November 23 – Fairfax County Sheriff Carl R. Peed fires a female deputy accused of sexually harassing three of her male co-workers.[2]
