Pohick Bay Regional Park
Pohick Bay Regional Park is a 1000-acre regional park in Lorton, operated by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority.
The 740-acre park opened on March 20, 1971.[1] Additional land purchases eventually enlarged the park to its current size by 1974.
After over a decade of planning, the NVRPA approved construction of an 18-hole golf course on the former Lebanon Plantation on January 18, 1979.[2] The golf course opened in June, 1982.[3]
