Seung Paik

Seung "Data" Paik (August 14, 1972 – March 27, 1998) was a 25-year-old man who was killed by his friend, 19-year-old Carl J. Christensen, when Christensen drunkenly turned his Mitsubishi Galant into the path of a tractor-trailer truck, which crashed into the car broadside at the intersection of Backlick and Edsall Roads in Springfield early on the morning of March 27, 1998.[1]

Christensen was driving Paik and his fiance, 20-year-old Vanessa Niemann, home from a co-ed bachelor party. Paik and Niemann were to be married the following day.[1]
