Sylvester W. Ogu

Sylvester W. Ogu was a 27-year-old George Mason University student who drowned in Burke Lake on March 26, 1977.[1]

Ogo was on an outing with an ecology class when the rowboat he was riding in overturned. Neither Ogu nor any of the other three occupants of the boat were wearing the provided life preservers.[1]
