- November 22, 1976 – James L. Breeden is sentenced to five life terms in prison by Circuit Court Judge Burch Millsap for killing 4 people execution-style and severely wounding a fifth during a robbery at a Roy Rogers restaurant in Alexandria on March 6, 1976.
- November 22, 1997 – 17-year-old Robinson High School senior Maren E. Polach unintentionally kills herself on Clifton Road in Clifton when she drives off the road and strikes a tree.
- November 22, 2013 – 69-year-old Alex Kovacs is mortally injured when his 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt is struck by a 2003 BMW as Kovacs attempts to turn into 9114 Richmond Highway and Kovacs is ejected from his Cobalt. Kovacs is taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he dies on December 6.
