Events that took place in Fairfax County in April, 1916:
- April 18 – A massive forest fire starts at Springfield Station and sweeps through the southeastern portion of the county, causing thousands of dollars of damage, destroying four homes, and threatening the communities of Accotink, Accotink Station, and Lorton before it is finally brought under control.[1][2]
