Events that took place in Fairfax County in April, 1931:
- April 4 – 26-year-old Clara Grove unintentionally kills her passenger, 31-year-old Richard J. Hayden, when she drives off a bridge on the road from Accotink to Accotink Station and into a creek, where it overturns. Hayden shoves Grove out of the window of the car, but is unable to save himself and drowns.[1]
