Burke Airport Relocation Committee

The Burke Airport Relocation Committee was formed on June 13, 1951 at a meeting of the Burke Communities Civic Association following the announcement of a plan to build an international airport there, necessitating the condemnation of 4500 acres and essentially obliterating the community.[1]
