- December 4 – 28-year-old Wesley Meadows drunkenly kills 43-year-old Margaret M. Linton and mortally injures her 13-year-old daughter Diane when he loses control of his car and crashes head-on into the Lintons' vehicle on Clifton Road in Clifton. Diane Linton is taken to the Commonwealth Doctors Hospital, where she dies later that evening.[1][2]
