- November 22 – James L. Breeden is sentenced to five life terms in prison by Circuit Court Judge Burch Millsap for killing 4 people execution-style and severely wounding a fifth during a robbery at a Roy Rogers restaurant in Alexandria on March 6, 1976.[1]
