Events that took place in Fairfax County in February, 1903:
- February 15 – The Florida limited express train is wrecked on the Southern Railway near the Ravensworth Station, killing Engineer Thomas J. Purvis and fireman Walter Wigginton. Inspection shows that the switch on the track was deliberately opened, causing the train to divert onto a spur before it crashes down an embankment.[1][2]
