Events that took place in Fairfax County in February, 1929:
- February 23 – 44-year-old Samuel Van Dyke Brooke kills one of his passengers, 39-year-old Julia Kelly, and fatally injures himself when he loses control of the car he is driving and crashes into a ditch on the Little River Turnpike. Brooke is taken to the Alexandria Hospital, where he dies on February 25.[1][2][3]
