Intesar A. Amra

Intesar Ahmad Abed Amra was a 19-year-old Jordanian woman who was shot to death in Centreville early on the morning of December 21, 1970.[1]

Amra's corpse was found about 7:30 AM in a clearing under some power lines about 25 feet away from Pleasant Valley Road by passerby Harold Seal.[1]

Amra, who had emigrated to the United States in 1967, was estranged from her husband Khalid Hamad, who lived in Cleveland, Ohio, and the couple's two children had returned to Jordan following the couple's estrangement on July 28, 1970.[1][2]

It was speculated at the time that the murder was an honor killing.[2]
