James Madison High School is a public high school in Vienna.
The school opened in 1959 with Elton A. Bonner as its first principal. The following year, 1960, the school desegregated when Phyllis and Preston Blackwell were allowed to transfer to the school.[1]
In 1987, Ed Ryan moved over from Falls Church High School to become the principal.[2]
