John F. Beach
John F. Beach was a building inspector for the Federal government who died February 18, 1906, when he was struck by a train on the Washington Southern Railway near his home in Lorton Valley.[1]
At the time of his death, he was free on bond following his conviction for assault with intent to kill Ernest Gichner, whom he had shot to death following an argument and assault at the Marine Barracks in Washington on September 9, 1905.[1]
