Events that took place in Fairfax County in July, 2008:
- July 5 – 54-year-old David M. Przewlocki is shot to death by officers of the Fairfax County Police Department in Oakton.[1]
- July 26 – 18-year-old Centreville High School student Rayoung Kim is mortally injured at her home at 14546 Old Mill Road in Centreville during a kut, a Korean ritual similar to an exorcism. Kim is taken to first to Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, then moved Inova Fairfax Hospital where she dies of her injuries on July 30.[2][3][4]
