Kara R. Burchett

Kara Renee Burchett (July 1, 1980 - January 17, 1993) was a 12-year-old student at Poe Intermediate School who was killed, along with her 43-year-old father Emory and 8-year-old sister Rena, when a fleeing criminal suspect crashed his stolen Toyota Tercel into her father's Subaru at around 100 miles per hour at the intersection of Broad and Washington streets in Falls Church on the morning of January 17, 1993.
