Events that took place in Fairfax County in November, 1962:
- November 5 – The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors fires the entire Fairfax County School Board when the school board refuses to turn over the job of school construction to the county government. Two members of the old board, Waldron Leonard and John D. K. Smoot, are reappointed, representing Mount Vernon and Dranesville, and two new members, Martha Gertwagen and Eugene L. Newman, are appointed.[1]
