- November 16 – Two cars belonging to Jefferson High School assistant principal Glenn J. Muhle are firebombed in the driveway of his Springfield home.[1]
- November 25 – Judge Albert V. Bryan, Jr. invalidates the county's recent 10% tax on admissions to entertainments, including movie theaters, as violating the Virginia Constitution.[2]
