Providence Elementary School is a public elementary school in the City of Fairfax.
The school originally opened in 1956 as Jermantown Elementary School. The City of Fairfax School Board consolidated the city's four elementary schools into two, closing Green Acres Elementary School and moving that school's students to Jermantown, which was renovated and renamed Providence.[1]
