Robert W. Staudaher
Robert Walter Staudaher (March 1, 1961 – July 24, 1980) was a 19-year-old Groveton High School dropout who was shot and mortally wounded by Fairfax County Police Sergeant Daniel Grimes when he emerged from a second floor bedroom firing a .30 caliber rifle following a six hour standoff at the family home at 7401 Range Road in Mount Vernon on July 24, 1980.[1]
Staudaher was taken to the Mount Vernon Hospital, where he died shortly thereafter.[1]
