Romine Williams

Romine Williams (August 24, 1924 – March 28, 1965) was a 39-year-old man who was shot to death by 36-year-old Solomon L. Hicks outside Hicks' home in the Dunn Loring area of Vienna on March 28, 1965.[1][2]

Earlier in the evening, Williams had argued with Hicks over the recent murder of civil rights worker Viola Luizzo in Selma, Alabama, and despite being told not to return to Hicks' house by Fairfax County Police Officer James Evans, did exactly that about four minutes after Officer Evans left.[1][2]
