- February 19, 1970 – Frederick C. Wininger is found guilty of first-degree murder by Judge Albert V. Bryan, Jr. in Fairfax Circuit Court for the June, 1969 shooting of George C. Crown during a robbery.
- February 19, 1975 – A tear-gas explosion in a stairwell at Lake Braddock Secondary School sends 65 students to the school's clinic and one to the Commonwealth Doctors Hospital. The school is evacuated for an hour to clear the gas, and a $50 reward is offered for the identity of the perpetrator.
- February 19, 1994 – 56-year-old Ho Y. You kills himself after his name is discovered on a loan arranged by Kum Ja Ridler as part of a fraudulent loan scheme.
