Waples Mill Elementary School is a public elementary school in Oakton.
The school opened in 1991 under the supervision of Principal Cabell Lloyd, who had formerly been at Freedom Hill Elementary School.[1]
It is named for the mill operated in the area in the mid-nineteenth century by Henry Waple.[2] The name was chosen by the School Board over Difficult Run Elementary and Vale Elementary.[2]
