Christopher L. Drury
Christopher Lewis "Chris" Drury (January 5, 1949 – April 19, 1965) was a 16-year-old from Chevy Chase, Maryland, who was fatally injured when a loaded dump truck driven by 19-year-old Nicholas C. Finamore ran a red light and crashed into the Corvair he was riding in at the intersection of Dolley Madison Boulevard and Old Dominion Drive on April 11, 1965.[1]
Drury was the only survivor of the crash that killed 15-year-old Catherine M. Atkinson, 14-year-old Amelia A. Shepard, and 17-year-olds Gregory P. White and John H. Williamson, and was taken to Fairfax Hospital, where he died on April 19.[2]
