Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce serves businesses in Springfield, Burke, Fairfax Station, and Newington, as well as the Franconia and Kingstowne areas of Alexandria and the Laurel Hill and Lorton Station areas of Lorton.
The executive director of the Chamber is Nancy-jo Manney.
The Chamber was organized in 1957 to fight a propsed business tax.[1] Bobbie Mae Johnson was appointed as the first director, then called the executive secretary.[1]
