Events that took place in Fairfax County in July, 1960:
- July 4 – 29-year-old Crawford Bass fatally injures 82-year-old Mary E. Keith when he runs a stop sign at the intersection of Fort Hunt and Collingwood Roads in Alexandria and strikes the car she is riding in. Keith dies about two hours later in the Alexandria Hospital from her injuries.[1][2][3]
