Events that took place in Fairfax County in June, 1960:
- June 7 – 7-year-old Gerry Mace is fatally injured when he rides his bicycle into the side of a moving truck in Falls Church. Mace is taken to Arlington Hospital, where he is pronounced dead.[1]
- June 7 – 68-year-old Frank J. Bradley commits suicide behind his home on Camp Alger Avenue in Falls Church by shooting himself with a .38 caliber pistol.[2]
- June 27 – The Falls Church City Council formally opens annexation proceedings against Fairfax County by adopting in a 5-1 vote an ordinance seeking to add 4.54 square miles of the county to the city's territory.[3]
