Events that took place in Fairfax County in June, 2014:

June 7 – The Gerry Connolly Cross County Trail is formally dedicated at a ceremony in Lorton.^[1]
June 9 – 16-year-old Kevin Johnson is shot and mortally wounded by Leon M. Johnson at 4311 Pembrook Village Drive in Alexandria. Johnson and a 14-year-old who was also shot are both taken to the hospital, where Johnson dies of his injuries.^[2]^[3]^[4]
June 18 – 35-year-old Juan Ramon Matetu Figueroa fatally stabs his 28-year-old girlfriend Glenda Aviles in her rented room in a home in Falls Church.^[5]^[6]
June 25 – An early morning fire in the house at 5605 Willow Valley Road in Clifton mortally injures 76-year-old Bok Yong An and seriously injures two other occupants of the home. An is flown to the Washington Hospital Burn Center, where he dies of his injuries.^[7]
