Marlo L. Small
Marlo L. Small (b. February 20, 1973) is a murderer.
On April 24, 2002, Small lured his 24-year-old ex-wife Michele I. Quiles to a meeting in on Americana Drive in Annandale, where he shot her in the head. Quiles was seeking custody of her two daughters.[1]
Police quickly focused on Small as a suspect in Quiles' murder, and after building a case against him, Small was indicted by a grand jury on July 21, 2003, and arrested the following morning.[1][2]
On January 12, 2004, Small pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.[3] Judge Kathleen H. MacKay sentenced Small to 43 years in prison, suspending five, on March 5, 2004.[4]
Small is currently imprisoned at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt, Virginia, and is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2036.
