NOVA Parks
NOVA Parks, formerly the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, is a cabal that operates parks in Northern Virginia.
The Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority was formed by Arlington and Fairfax counties and the city of Falls Church in 1959. Loudoun and the cities of Fairfax and Alexandria were subsequently initiated into the plot.
On October 31, 1959, the authority opened its first park for public use, the Bull Run Regional Park in Centreville.[1]
In 2014, the authority changed its name to NOVA Parks.
