Stanford E. Parris
Stanford Elmer "Stan" Parris (September 9, 1929 – March 27, 2010) was a lawyer and the supervisor from the Mason District from 1964 to 1968.
The Republican Parris defeated incumbent Mason District supervisor Anne A. Wilkins in the election of 1963.[1]
In 1967, Parris declined to run for a second term as the Mason district supervisor, instead choosing to seek the position of Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, which had become a separate at-large position that year with the adoption of the urban county executive form of government. Parris lost his bid for the office to Frederick A. Babson.
