- March 25, 1996 – 30-year-old David C. Stallard is stabbed to death by 23-year-old Lars Hanson at the Shell station at 6660 Arlington Boulevard in Falls Church.
- March 25, 2016 – 29-year-old William G. Martines-Palma is fatally stabbed in the Rose Hill area of Alexandria by 19-year-old John Martin Mercado. Martines-Palma is first taken to the Inova HealthPlex, but later moved to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he dies.
