- November 9, 1969 – 19-year-old Richard E. Smith is shotgunned to death by 23-year-old Larry Lucas at a party at 7606 Broadway Drive in Falls Church. While searching for Lucas, 27-year-old Falls Church Police Officer Arthur L. Bennett is struck by pellets from a shotgun when 5 other people attempt to revenge themselves on Smith's killer.
- November 9, 1980 – 19-year-old Jonathan P. Reinemer fatally injures his three passengers, 18-year-olds Alana J. Klingebiel and Wallace Simpson, Jr. and 17-year-old Deborah L. Rodgers, when he drunkenly loses control of his speeding 1974 Nova and smashes into a Mazda driven by 22-year-old Lawrence O'Brien, killing O'Brien, on Annandale Road near the Walnut Hill mansion in Annandale. Klingebiel and Rodgers are taken to Fairfax Hospital, where both die on the operating table. Simpson is taken to Arlington Hospital, where he dies.
- November 9, 1997 – 19-year-old Elvia Garcia fatally poisons her 11-day-old son Ivan at her home in the Audubon Estates trailer park in Alexandria by putting the painkiller tramadol hydrochloride in his formula.
- November 9, 1998 – 19-year-old Charlene C. Taylor pleads guilty to murder for the starvation death of her infant son Trevon in Falls Church on January 4.
