Backlick Plaza is a shopping center in Springfield.
It was initially built by Rosenfeld Realty as the Hechinger Backlick Plaza and named after its main tenant, a Hechinger hardware store that opened in 1970.[1][2]
In 2007, Crow Holdings bought the plaza from Rosenfeld for $22.75 million, but Rosenfeld continued to manage the property.[3][4] Crow Holdings sold the plaza back to JBG Rosenfeld in 2015 for just over $30 million. Rosenfeld again sold the plaza to Steuart Investments in 2017 for $33 million.
