Hayfield Farm
Hayfield Farm is a neighborhood in Alexandria.
The neighborhood was built starting in 1965 on the site of the old Hayfield Farm by Wills & Van Metre, who had bought the property in 1963.[1]
Incidents
On July 25, 1984, 15-year-old Deborah L. Meyer was shot to death by a 13-year-old friend playing with a handgun in the basement of her home at 7813 Worthing Court.[2][3]
On October 7, 2012, 30-year-old Mark E. Ives was stabbed to death in the 5400 block of Broadmoor Street by Manuel F. Garces.[4]
