Events that took place in Fairfax County in June, 1963:
- June 2 – 27-year-old Marine Sergeant Donald Welch drowns in the recently-opened Burke Lake.[1]
- June 19 – A three-mile high speed police chase ends badly for 20-year-old Harold E. May when he loses control of the car he is driving and crashes at the intersection of Braddock Road and Little River Turnpike in Alexandria. May suffers multiple injuries when he is thrown from his vehicle and taken to fairfax Hospital, where he is pronounced dead.[2]
- June 21 – Circuit Court Judge Albert V. Bryan, Jr. sentences 18-year-old John C. Vinson, Jr. to life in prison for the 1962 murder of Lewis M. Goldfein in Falls Church.[3]
