- May 27 – 18-year-old John C. Vinson, Jr. is convicted of first-degree murder for shooting 17-year-old Lewis M. Goldfein in Falls Church after Goldfein caught him peeping in the family's house at 1317 Jefferson Avenue on September 1, 1962.[1]
