Events that took place in Fairfax County in June, 2007:
- June 14 – 20-year-old Elaine M. Thackston kills herself and three of her passengers: 19-year-old Sarah R. Carter, 18-year-old Lydia M. Petkoff, and 18-year-old Renee N. Shelkin, when she cuts off a tractor trailer truck near the Springfield Mixing Bowl, which then strikes the Volkswagen convertible Thackston is driving.[1]
- June 30 – 41-year-old John P. Bloxham fatally shoots his ex-girlfriend's new beau, 31-year-old Todd J. Rogers, in Rogers' 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche on Phillips Drive in the Beacon Hill area of Alexandria. Rogers is taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he dies.[2][3]
