- March 3 – 60-year-old Ronald K. Giguere is shot to death by his wife, Marysusan Giguere, to settle an argument in their home at 1438 Crowell Road in Vienna.[1][2]
- March 5 – 19-year-old narcotics enthusiast Alicia Lannes unintentionally kills herself with an overdose of heroin at her parent's house in Centreville.[3][4]
- March 13 – 42-year-old John P. Bloxham is convicted of first-degree murder for fatally shooting 31-year-old Todd J. Rogers in Rogers' truck in the Beacon Hill area of Alexandria on June 30, 2007.[5]
